During year 2001-2002 we have successfully modified and commissioned one latest development which we feel a revolution in coir spinning industry. Since we have supplied around 100 automatic double head 2 ply coir yarn spinning machines all over South India we have received lot of feed back from our customers regarding the performance of our machines. Since one silvering machine is installed for 6 to 7 spinning machine breakdown in silvering machine will affect the entire spinning machine production. If there is a major breakdown in silvering machine like want of spares, or requiring any machining of parts and the silvering machine is out of order for 2 to 3 days the entire industry is affected and factory will be under huge loss as no silvers are available to run the spinning machines. These being the major complaint. We decided to eliminate the silvering process it self in the spinning. We designed an attachment to the spinning machine. Here we completely eliminated the usage of silvers. Any breakdown of silver machine will directly affects the yarn production by spinning machines and total factory has to be stopped for the breakdown. This puts the industry under heavy loss. In the New technology, cleaned fiber is the directly fed on to the feeding system conveyor. The fiber feeding machine itself where the cleaned fiber is directly fed on to the feeding conveyor. The fiber feeding attachments consists of two stage combing process and carrying of fiber is through conveyor. Since the cleaned fiber is directly used in place of silvers, one stage of silvering process is completely eliminated resulting in cost saving and increases the profitability

Major advantage is, as each and every spinning machine is attached with fiber feeding system and any breakdown due to maintenance in spinning machine will not affect the whole industry or factory to be shut. Only that particular machine will stop and rest of the machine will be running till the breakdown machine is repaired. One operator is enough to feed fiber for 3 or 4 machines; labor requirement is also considerable reduced. As silvering machine is completely eliminated, the cost of silvering machine is equally distributed to fabricate the fiber attachment to each spinning machine and this nullifies machine cost parameter
